News Update
"Hi
all,
Lots
of news this quarter and a good few changes for DACB. The new
services are exciting and will hopefully be as successful as
our regular ones.
Hope
to see as many of you as possible at the Soup and Sweet….and
of course at the Christmas Party!
Rachel"
New
Service
Ian
Leask our driver on the Fraserburgh A2B service is
now taking bookings from people from Fraserbugh,
Rosehearty and Cairnbulg areas
for a new service to allow these people a change of scenery!
This has come about as some of you wished to go to places like
Banff and Inverurie, instead of always Fraserburgh. So I know
that you will support this service, so it can continue to run.
Please call the office!!

Dates
for your Diary
Another
very successful bingo evening was held at New
Pitsligo when record numbers attended! Over £600
was raised. Thank you. The staff at the British Legion
were extremely helpful in making the evening go smoothly. A
special thank you to Les for ‘standing his hand’
to everyone.
The
August event was the coffee morning in New
Deer. We welcomed some new helpers as well as many of our usual
clients. We also had one or two from the Wizard festival, who
enjoyed the butteries and the fancy pieces. We raised
over £400 on the day.
The
next event is Bingo at New Aberdour
on 26 Sept. There is then the Soup and Sweet
at Mintlaw on 4 October. We look forward to seeing
you then.
We would
like to extend a warm welcome to Riian McGarthland,
who joined our office team on 8 September as Admin Assistant.
Riian will be taking all your bookings from now on, freeing
Helen up to run the operations side of things. I know you will
all make her feel welcome.
Since our last Dial-a-News, Duncan is back to health and was
welcomed back to the Peterhead A2B.
